Our Foundation Story
Bhoomi Foundation was born from a simple truth witnessed on village roads of Karnataka: abandoned cows, elderly mothers past milking age, and injured animals left without care. What began as a handful of volunteers offering water and fodder grew into a charitable trust committed to building a lasting Gaushala — a home where Indian indigenous breeds are honoured, protected and loved for life.
Today we work near temple landscapes and green fields, combining traditional reverence for the cow with modern veterinary care, hygiene and transparent stewardship.

Mission
To rescue, shelter and lifelong-care for Sacred Indian Indigenous Cows in Karnataka through a modern, well-managed Gaushala offering food, water, medical treatment, protection and compassion.
Vision
A trusted Gaushala sanctuary in rural Karnataka that becomes a model of ethical cow care — peaceful, sustainable, spiritually rooted and open to community participation.

• Expand sheltered capacity for rescued Hallikar, Gir and Amrit Mahal cows
• Build a dedicated veterinary treatment shed and isolation ward
• Develop sustainable fodder cultivation on Gaushala land
• Create volunteer and educational programmes for local youth
• Achieve full solar-powered water and lighting systems
• Publish annual impact reports for every donor

We believe trust is sacred. Donation records are maintained carefully. Receipts are generated for successful payments. Bank details and UPI options are published openly. Our admin team reviews every contribution and shares updates through gallery, activities and direct communication whenever possible.
